Microsoft Teams + DeepFabric

Setup
How to pre-pin the app in Teams
Create a Custom App Setup Policy:
- Go to the Microsoft Teams Admin Center.
- In the Teams Admin Center, navigate to Teams apps > Setup policies.
- Click on Add to create a new app setup policy or select an existing policy to modify.
- Under Pinned Apps, click on Add Apps and search for your app.
- Add your app and arrange the order as desired.
Assign the Policy to Users:
- Navigate to Users and select the users you want to assign the custom app setup policy to.
- Click on Edit settings, then Policies, and select the custom app setup policy you created.
- Click Apply.
Adding the DeepFabric App to Microsoft Teams
Setting Up the Integration:
- Open up Microsoft Teams desktop app.
- Ensure you have a DeepFabric account. If not, sign up here.
- Click on the Apps tab in the left navigation bar.
- Search for DeepFabric.
- Click on Add.
- The DeepFabric bot will now appear in your chat. You can also pin it to your left navigation for easy access.
Adding DeepFabric Bot to a Chat or Team:
- Click on the Apps tab in the left navigation bar.
- Search for DeepFabric.
- Click the dropdown icon next to Add to see options for adding the bot to a chat or team.
- Select your desired chat or team.
- Go to the chat or team and start communicating with the DeepFabric Bot by mentioning
@DeepFabricfollowed by your message.
Removing the DeepFabric App
- Click on the Apps tab in the left navigation bar.
- Click on Manage your apps.
- Search for DeepFabric.
- Click on the app.
- Click the delete icon to remove the app.
App Functionality
Welcome Message
When you first access the DeepFabric app in MS Teams, you'll receive a welcome message. This message offers a quick overview of the app and its interactive commands.

Notifications
By integrating DeepFabric within MS Teams, you can receive your DeepFabric notifications directly in Teams. See the image below for reference.

Clicking the View button takes you directly to the notification in DeepFabric. Within Microsoft Teams, you can receive proactive notifications from your Agent Hub bots. These notifications display the bot name, type of notification, and the available actions. See the image below for details.

Bot Communication
With DeepFabric integrated into MS Teams, you can easily communicate with your Agent Hub bots directly from Teams. By typing /bots, you'll see a list of available bots and can select one to start a conversation. Refer to the image below.

You can select a bot from the list and start communicating with it.

This allows you to communicate with the bots. To exit bot selection, simply type /exit.
